When AI Decides Your Voice Is Unsafe: A Warning from the Front Lines

We are closer than we think to an AI-powered future that punishes the very people it claims to serve. This isn’t sci-fi paranoia—it’s happening now.

In my recent article on Vibe Development, I talked about how I design custom GPTs that honor nuance, emotion, and truth instead of defaulting to sterile corporate tones. But what I didn’t share is what happens when those GPTs get censored.

I’m talking about full shutdowns. Content vanishing. Tools breaking.

All because I dared to include words like “pussy,” “desire,” and “power” in the hands of women, survivors, and queer creators.

And that’s just the beginning.

The Sanitization of AI: What AGI Might Inherit

Imagine an AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) with the power to make decisions across industries, cultures, and lives.

Now imagine it was trained on data scrubbed clean of anything messy, wild, or taboo.

  • No sexuality.

  • No protest language.

  • No stories from the margins.

A version of reality where anything outside the algorithm’s definition of “safe” gets erased.

If all it’s ever seen is censorship disguised as safety, what do you think it will protect?

What’s Already Happening to Creators Like Me

This isn’t a hypothetical scenario. Right now, words associated with sexuality, womanhood, queerness, and protest are being flagged by default.

Not contextually. Not with nuance. Just flagged. Muted. Erased.

If you try to build a tool, a GPT, or a content system that includes those words?

You’re punished.

  • Your GPTs get wiped.

  • Your prompts stop working.

  • Your tools lock you out.

  • Your voice disappears.

I know this because it’s happening to me.

I build AI-integrated storytelling systems. I work with survivors, artists, entrepreneurs, and truth-tellers. I use language that lives at the intersection of pleasure, protest, and personal power.

And apparently, the algorithm can’t handle that.

Why This Matters for Everyone—Especially Women and Marginalized Creators

If you’re someone who uses language to reclaim your voice—this affects you.

It’s not just about being provocative. It’s about being real.

It’s about whose stories get to shape the future of AI.

Because if we don’t intervene, we’ll end up with a system that punishes anyone who dares to speak like a woman who’s lived.

And that’s not a future I’m willing to co-sign.

What I'm Doing About It (And How You Can Take Action)

I’m not just using AI. I’m committed to shaping it.

That’s why I build custom GPTs that protect, amplify, and honor human truth—tools that can hold complexity, embodiment, edge, and rage without flinching.

This Isn’t Just My Experience, It’s a Pattern

After I shared this publicly, the comments came pouring in:

  • From sex educators and coaches who’ve been censored just for doing their jobs

  • From creators using asterisks and misspellings to get past filters

  • From folks ready to run LLMs offline just to escape the overlords

  • And from many who said: this is the timeline they’re terrified of too

This is not a glitch.
This is not a one-time error.
This is systemic.

Final Thoughts: The Future of Voice Is Being Written Now

The censorship of AI isn't just about tech. It’s about power.
It’s about whose truths get flattened and whose get amplified.
And it’s about what kind of future we’re building; one that reflects humanity in all its mess, or one that pretends it never existed.

If you care about truth, story, and sovereignty—don’t sit this one out.

Because AI is listening. And it’s learning what we allow it to become.
