Warming Morning Detox Beverage

Throughout my wellness journey, I have come across many practices that have enhanced my morning routine. Unfortunately, if I were to do all of them, my morning would go well into the afternoon. Because of this, I have chosen the things I consider to be every day items as well as those I will use when I feel like my body is calling out for them.
This morning detox beverage falls into the second category. I'm not really sure why, since it takes no time at all to make, and as I write this I wonder whether I should try letting it make a full-time appearance.
The principal is simple. You want to consume detoxifying elements on an empty stomach. First thing in the morning is a great time to do this because you have had an evening to fully digest and are hopefully coming into your day with a blank canvas- unless you are doing some serious sleep-eating!

1. Apple cider vinegar- make sure it's raw, organic and unfiltered and contains THE MOTHER (which is a probiotic). The acetic acid formed when vinegar is made is the magic of the healing properties.
People have been talking about the health benefits of vinegar for centuries (Hippocrates, people), so it should come as no surprise that this is the number one ingredient on my morning detox beverage. In fact, I will start my day chugging a tablespoon of cider vinegar most days.
Here are the some of the reasons why:
-vinegar has shown to kill bacteria (inside you and on surfaces)
-it can help you keep your blood sugar levels in check
-it might be helpful in weight loss efforts (though the studies I have read only show short-term results)
-it contains high levels of polyphenols, which are shown to have an effect on a variety of ailments and diseases, including cancer prevention
-apple cider vinegar can help women regulate their vaginal pH*
*I do NOT recommend using cider vinegar as a douche or internally. The consumption of it is shown to help you down there as well, and is much safer. The
